AES OHIO'S PIPP RFP

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 15, 2024 is $80.09/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.  

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the April 17, 2023 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of AES Ohio. The RFP procured supply for 100 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 delivery period. The Finding and Order is available here. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 17, 2023 is $96.56/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.  

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the May 16, 2022 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of AES Ohio. The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for May 2, 2022 is $98.82/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price. 

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the May 3, 2021 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of AES Ohio. The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 19, 2021 is $44.77/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.  

The Dayton Power & Light (DP&L) Company has announced its new name and brand identity. DP&L is now AES Ohio. AES Ohio will continue to procure full requirements service for their Percentage of Income Payment Plan (“PIPP”) customers. The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 7, 2020 is $42.70/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price. 

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the April 23, 2019 PIPP Supplemental RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of The Dayton Power and Light Company. The RFP procured supply for 100 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020 delivery period. The Finding and Order is available. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 23, 2019 is $47.30/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.  

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the April 3, 2018 PIPP Supplemental RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of The Dayton Power and Light Company. The RFP procured supply for 100 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019 delivery period. The Finding and Order is available. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for March 26, 2018 is $49.07/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price. 

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the May 1, 2017 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of The Dayton Power and Light Company. The RFP procured supply for 100 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 delivery period. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for May 1, 2017 is $50.33/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.
